About

This expansive chalet sits perched above the Virgin River valley with sweeping views of red rock formations that'll have you reaching for your camera before you've even unpacked. The house sleeps large groups comfortably (up to 50 for events) with multiple bedrooms and a layout that gives everyone space to spread out. The beds get consistent praise for comfort, and the kitchen comes fully equipped for cooking big family meals.

You'll find thoughtful touches throughout, from local Zion artwork on the walls to games and activities for downtime. The hot tub adds a nice touch after long days exploring. The whole place feels polished and well-maintained, with that clean mountain lodge vibe that works whether you're here for a family reunion or a destination wedding.

The location puts you right in the sweet spot. Rockville sits just minutes from Zion's main entrance, so you're close enough for easy park access but far enough to feel like you've escaped to your own private retreat. The chalet handles both intimate getaways and larger celebrations, with outdoor ceremony space that takes advantage of those red rock backdrops.

It's the kind of place where your group can actually relax together instead of feeling cramped. Between the views, the amenities, and the proximity to Zion's trails, you get that perfect balance of comfort and adventure access.

We had an unbelievable time at the Chalet. There were a lot of us, but the large rooms and combinations of bunk beds worked well for our group. The back deck and front porch were awesome to enjoy the weather and sunset. Owners provided a nice starter set of towels and soaps for us. The extra refrigerators in the garage were also helpful. Kitchen was well stocked as well. Highly recommend. So glad I found this place for our stay. An easy drive to Zion and downtown without actually being in downtown. The hot tub and grill and the multiple propane tanks were definitely a big plus and made the stay that much more convenient and enjoyable without having to worry about an empty fuel tank.

We chose this venue with the hope of having an intimate, scenic wedding. While the view to one side was stunning and we had the joy of marrying each other, the experience as a whole was deeply disappointing. The Airbnb was in poor condition: Non-functioning outlets A garbage disposal that pushed food back out and made the whole house stink Drainage issues in the master bath Fire ants everywhere Unsafe stairs that caused one of our guests to fall and suffer a knee injury due to the tape being tattered and hard to see. No locks on bedroom doors and cramped living spaces for the number of guests the listing claims to support The property is near a water treatment plant that smelled terrible, and there was a neglected looking horse nearby that genuinely broke our hearts to see. The check-in process was a mess. We were forced to upload our photo ID, debit card, and sign more contracts and waivers. We waited almost an hour past check-in waiting for a 4 digit code that could have been said over the phone when we called. The biggest issues came from host communication and vendor policies: Andrea, the host, was extremely difficult to communicate with. We booked our photographer two years in advance, only to be told they couldn’t be used unless we paid an extra fee and signed an outrageous contract that prohibited sharing wedding photos. We were told that three people (including the host) would be present at our small wedding of 30 people, something that was not disclosed upfront or we never would have booked. Although Andrea herself didn't show up, one of her team members was caught entering the home unannounced and snooping around multiple times. She also sat beside the DJ monitoring our every move. A few items went missing during our stay, and though we can't prove anything, it left us feeling violated. The DJ was her husband, and while he was decent, our timeline was messed up a few times and we were forced to hire him (one of the only djs on the vendor list) due to supposed noise ordinances—yet we heard music multiple times from neighboring properties she owns. Seemingly like the rules didn't apply to anyone else. In short, the entire experience felt intrusive, disorganized, and overpriced. What should have been the happiest day of our lives came with an incredible amount of stress, miscommunication, and disappointment. I don’t say this lightly, but please look elsewhere if you're planning a wedding or special event. The venue may photograph well, but the experience behind the scenes is one we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Even local shops, people, and vendors we didn't work with said this place was awful to work with and they have been boycotted previously. Best of luck

Could not have asked for a better place to get married! Guest limit is 50 people and about half of our guests were able to stay with us for the wedding weekend leading up to the ceremony and reception. What a cool experience! This helped so much for everyone to get to know each other and make all we had planned that much more fun. The chalet was clean and way more spacious than it looked over photos. Certain rooms like the double bunk room (sleeps 4 according to the website) was very cramped but we ended up just putting kids in there. We DIY'd most things like my brother in law and two bridesmaids cooked our wedding lunch which was our main meal. There was plenty of cookware and we pretty much had everything we needed. The garage was a perfect space to store all of the decor and to put together our flowers from Trader Joe's. The hot tub on site was the perfect way to unwind and we spent every night outside with the gorgeous views and stars. Andrea and Nina were very helpful in answering my calls and questions before and after booking. This is all despite the time difference as I'm from SoCal. The preferred vendors we ended up booking were Sunny's Cake Shop for our cakes, Holly May Photo, and Electric Audio. Everyone was absolutely spectacular. I was initially frustrated as we had a very tight budget and with preferred vendors sometimes you can get stuck paying for more than intended. However, having vendors that knew the site very well ended up outweighing any hesitations I had. Holly May knew all the best photo spots right away which was great since we didn't have much time to scout the venue beforehand. Electric Audio (Jason) was able to just set up right away without much direction due to him knowing the venue well. Everyone we worked with at the Chalet and the vendors are just so kind and just perfect. Really made our day special. Would recommend to anyone considering!

GOATED place to stay…plenty of room and super nice… this (and the other red rock locations) are genuinely the best places possible to stay when visiting Zions National Park. Whether it’s for a family reunion or a bunch of friends. Super great staff as well - very helpful and made the whole thing super easy

We had an amazing time at the Red Rock Chalet. It was perfect for our 4 families. There was so much for the kids to do they had a blast. The house was clean, in great shape and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.
