About

This Wingate sits in the quieter Bloomington area of St. George, away from the busy Bluff Street corridor but still close to restaurants and local attractions. The location gives you easy access to everything you need without the noise and traffic of the main tourist strips.

Rooms come equipped for longer stays with microwaves, mini fridges, and safes. You'll find two full-length mirrors (handy when you're getting ready for adventures), plus spacious layouts that don't feel cramped after a few days. The continental breakfast gets solid reviews and saves you time in the morning before heading out to explore.

The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are perfect for unwinding after hiking or exploring southern Utah's red rock country. There's also a convenient mini mart in the lobby for late-night snacks or forgotten essentials. Free parking and shuttle service remove those little travel headaches.

What really sets this place apart is the front desk service. Multiple guests specifically mention Cole and the genuine hospitality that makes you feel welcomed every time you walk through the lobby. It's the kind of place where staff actually remember you and offer solid local recommendations.

St. George puts you about 45 minutes from Zion's main entrance, making this a practical base for park visits while giving you access to the area's other attractions like Snow Canyon State Park and the growing downtown scene.

The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient, close to restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a nice bonus, and the pool/hot tub area looked relaxing. Overall, a great value and I’d stay here again.

The rooms are great, clean and well maintained. Front desk associates and other staff are super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is good with several different options. The location is amazing, right off the freeway and easy to get on and off and since it's just south of the main St. George area, you miss a lot of the typical rush hour and tourist traffic. I come to St. George a few times a year and this is my preferred place to stay.

Hotel is clean and nice beds. If you are looking for something on the budget friendly side, this is perfect. Staff was helpful and location close to downtown. The bathroom is on the small side and is a bit awkward.

Nice hotel. Plenty of parking. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. We had to call a number to alert them. I like the front lobby layout with the walkway above and the patriotic decorations. The room with one king bed was spacious (makes such a difference!). Free WiFi. Small but nice outdoor pool and hot tub. I like the changing colors of light in the hot tub- it's the little things 😊. The pool towels are so thin... like so many places. Free breakfast that was pretty good besides the soggy biscuits from the condensation in the warmer. Lol and eww. Everything else was great. Waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels, seasoned potatoes, yogurt, plus more. I didn't like the orange juice...it seemed fake. The apple juice was good. The TV channels were sparse but luckily we didn't need them (originally we were thinking of having our kids with us who were going to stay at the hotel while we went to a funeral, so that would have been a problem šŸ˜†). There were plenty of towels placed in the room for only us 2 (sometimes we have had to ask for more at other places). I do wish there was a hand towel ring by the sink to hang a small towel on. Again... it's the little things that would make such a difference. The toilet paper origami bows makes for a nice presentation when you arrive šŸ™‚. The bath products are mounted on the shower wall. It's a good sized bathroom. The mirror had a light behind it that helps for doing make-up, etc. The room has an ironing board, a safe, a fridge (no freezer partition), coffee maker, a closet, hair dryer, microwave, TV, desk, lamps with built-in power plugs (so helpful), and an alarm clock with USB port. I forgot my toothbrush! They of course had one for me. But heads up that it was not found in their convenient sundries store. I had to ask for it and they have them at the front desk. Also toothpaste. The hotel is next to a Walmart if you need something. They have a laundry room, ice machines, and conference rooms. The mattress was not too hard and not too soft. The pillows were good too. You can get late check-out and a 10% discount overall if you are a member of their loyalty program. We would stay here again. It was very nice overall.

First of all, thank you to whoever decided on the marvelous makeup mirror in the bathroom. It made my morning 100% easier. We were only in St. George overnight but our stay was wonderful. The property is well kept and convenient. Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted by front desk staff. She was polite and informative. Our room was spacious and inviting. It had everything we needed for our stay. We had a courtyard view which was nice. The bed was comfortable and offered us a good night's sleep. In the bathroom, there was enough space to place toiletries, which is often hard to find. If we ever find ourselves in St George again, we will be staying here!
