Site B9 sits in Watchman Campground's riverside section, where you'll wake up to the sound of the Virgin River and towering red cliffs all around. The pull-through site handles RVs easily and gives you plenty of room to spread out. Your setup includes a picnic table, fire ring, and 30-amp electrical hookups (bring an adapter if you're charging an electric vehicle).
The real draw here is location. A short path leads directly to the free shuttle stop that whisks you into Zion Canyon for the Narrows, Angels Landing, and other classic hikes. When you're done exploring, come back and cool off in the river that runs right behind your campsite. The water feels incredible after a long day on the trails.
Heated bathrooms with real flush toilets are scattered throughout the campground (no showers, though). The visitor center is an easy walk away, and there's a paved bike path if you want to cruise around on two wheels. Dogs are welcome, and they'll love the river access as much as you will.
You're camping inside Zion National Park itself, which means you can't beat the convenience. The shuttle system connects you to everything without dealing with parking hassles in the canyon. Book well ahead because this is one of the most popular campgrounds in the park system.
