About

The Dwellings offers something different from typical hotel stays. These modern tiny homes perch along a cliff edge in La Verkin, giving you sweeping mountain views and complete privacy. Each unit comes with a full kitchen, comfortable bedding, and thoughtful design touches that make extended stays feel effortless.

Families love the flexibility here. You get your own standalone space with room to spread out, plus kitchenettes that make feeding everyone simple and budget-friendly. The grocery store sits just a minute away, and there's a coffee shop and pizza place right next door when you don't feel like cooking. Units range from cozy couples' retreats to larger spaces that sleep seven.

The location works perfectly for Zion exploration. You're about 25 minutes from the park entrance, far enough to escape the crowds but close enough for easy day trips. The drive itself is scenic, winding through red rock country that gives you a preview of what's ahead.

What sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Unlimited hot water, quality showers, and all the little amenities you didn't know you needed. Several units literally sit on the cliff edge (Unit 18 is called "The Edge" for good reason), offering dramatic views that change with the light throughout the day. It's the kind of place where families end up extending their stay rather than moving on to the next stop.

Omgeee absolutely enjoyed staying here! The view is captivating, especially the sunsets!! Ahhhmazing! Customer Service was so very friendly & the units are clean and comfortable. The Zion Hot Springs is right across the street, which is so convenient. The Dwellings is the perfect spot to stay when visiting Zion. I would definitely stay here again!

* BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS BECAUSE THE TOWELS ARE ONLY FOR DISPLAY * Wonderful view and room but we were accused of “stealing” some cheap towels. The owner said that they couldn’t wash the towels due to “black stuff” on it? Me and my father went hiking so there might be dirt but we were very cautious and cleaned as much as we can. It was around 9:50am before checkout @10am, the owners wife was already waiting outside to come in and complain about something in the room. Later on after we left, not even 15 minutes laters. They had sent us messages and started to complain about the towels and wanted to charge us. My mom called the owner (BOB) and started asking what was the charge of the towels and how bad was the “damage” to the towels. ( The owner did say it was going to be 100 sum dollars, if you can’t afford that. BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS! ) Not even 5 minutes into the call the owner said that he wants us to never come back, even though we stayed there in the past and never had issues. It’s understandable but it’s also ridiculous when we are saying we never did damage or stole. So my mom kept her cool and kindly said bye and hung up. The sad part is that it’s Father’s Day and It’s my Mom’s birthday. So the fact that u have to charge 100 sum dollars is very upsetting. So just advice before staying at The Dwellings, bring a couple personal home towels if you can’t afford “100 sum dollars” * BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS BECAUSE THE TOWELS ARE ONLY FOR DISPLAY *

We loved our stay here! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the discount for the hot springs was a great perk. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The Dwellings in La Verkin, Utah, just outside of Zion National Park, were such a great find. The location is perfect—close enough to the park for easy access, but far enough out to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, and the views surrounding it were absolutely beautiful—exactly what you hope for when staying near Zion. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and scenic place to stay near Zion, I would absolutely recommend The Dwellings.

We stayed one night in the apartments. The room was very modern and spotlessly clean. We had room number 17 with a wonderful view. It is a bit noisy from the street, but that didn't bother me. It bothered my husband a little. There's a small shop where you can buy snacks and drinks. Next door is a restaurant with what I think is good pizza. There's a grill on the balcony. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.
