About

This straightforward hotel sits right on Hurricane's main drag, making it easy to find after a long day exploring southern Utah. The property caters to budget-conscious travelers who want the basics done right: clean rooms, free continental breakfast, and amenities like an outdoor pool and hot tub to unwind after hiking.

The breakfast gets consistent praise from guests, often outperforming pricier hotels in the area. You'll find standard continental fare, but it's well-stocked and fresh. The outdoor pool area provides a welcome respite during hot desert days, and the hot tub is perfect for soothing tired muscles after tackling the Narrows or Angels Landing.

What sets this place apart is the thoughtful parking setup designed for guests hauling trailers and larger vehicles. If you're heading to the Sand Hollow dunes or traveling with recreational gear, you'll appreciate not having to squeeze into tight spots. The front desk staff consistently earn mentions for being helpful and accommodating.

Hurricane puts you about 20 minutes from Zion's main entrance, with easy access to other southern Utah attractions like Sand Hollow State Park and Quail Creek Reservoir. The location offers a good balance of convenience and value, letting you save money on lodging while staying close to the action. For travelers who prioritize location and budget over luxury amenities, this delivers exactly what you need for a southern Utah adventure.

A cheap but clean spot to stay in the route of Zion

We stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. While the building is historic, it is very well-maintained, and the rooms were considerably clean. Even though the hotel is on the smaller side, the rooms come fully equipped with all the essentials, including a mini-fridge, microwave, hairdryer, TV, coffee maker, and good internet speed. The only drawback is that the walls are quite thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms—though luckily, we had quiet neighbors during our stay. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, so we can't comment on it, but overall it’s a solid place to stay.

I stayed at an awful Motel 6 on my trip so it really made me appreciate this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. I slept great there. Only 2 suggestions I have are to open up the breakfast earlier for those heading to Zion early and the pool only had one lounge chair which was broken. I sat in it anyways but desperately needs to be replaced.
