The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, and everyone treated us really well. This review is not about them at all, they did the best they could. I feel like we got scammed, it’s not at all like the pictures online. Unfortunately, the room itself was honestly disgusting. I understand this is a budget hotel, but being inexpensive shouldn’t mean being dirty. The carpets were filthy, and the bathroom was so unclean that we were uncomfortable showering in it. The drain and the grout around it were grimy, the sink and walls looked dirty, there was rust all around the shower, and the shower curtain was so thin and cheap that water leaked all over the bathroom floor. The ceiling also had what looked like an old spill that had never been cleaned. There was a sticky, caramelized substance on both the ceiling and the window, almost like someone had spilled soda and it had been left there for months. It was impossible not to notice. I’ve stayed at hotels that cost even less than this one and felt much more comfortable because they were clean. Cleanliness is the bare minimum, regardless of price. This feels like a management issue, not a staff issue. The employees were great, but the condition of the rooms needs serious attention. I was honestly grossed out the entire time I was in the room, and I wouldn’t stay here again unless cleanliness standards improved.
