We had a great stay, the room was comfortable, very easy check-in, all you need (supermarket, cafe, gas station) just around the corner, and it is an ideal location to reach Zion National Park by car

Quirky, individually decorated rooms with genuine hospitality in a quiet mountain setting.
Parkway Motel sits in Orderville, a small town positioned perfectly between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. It's the kind of place that doesn't announce itself loudly, but guests who find it tend to become advocates.
The motel's real strength is in the details: each room has its own personality and design theme, from cave-inspired spaces to rooms with whimsical ceiling details. You're getting genuine character here, not cookie-cutter standardization.
The owner, Dixie, sets the tone for the whole operation. She's attentive without being intrusive, and she knows the region well enough to offer solid recommendations for what to see and do nearby.
The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable with the essentials:
Microwave and fridge with freezer
Hot shower and quality towels
Beds that actually feel good
Quiet atmosphere for real rest between days of hiking or exploring
You're about 20 minutes from Zion National Park's east entrance and positioned well for exploring Bryce Canyon and the broader southern Utah landscape. There's a supermarket directly across the street and a restaurant nearby, so you're not completely remote despite the "middle of nowhere" feel some guests mention.
The motel works equally well as a base camp for a multi-day regional trip or a one-night stop between parks. It's the kind of place where travelers who expect generic roadside lodging end up pleasantly surprised.

I spent a night in this hotel.. The owner Dixie was very nice. The room was ok for the price ..a microwave and a fridge with a freezer !! .. Plenty of towels and soap shampoo etc.. Was very quiet..a nice little hotel between Zion and Bryce.. supermarket across the street and a little restaurant across too that I won't recommend the food was very bad and a big rip off

The initial impression of the accommodation wasn't very appealing. The parking area was a dreary gravel lot in a side courtyard with several potholes. The room itself, however, was very nicely furnished and had everything one needed. The bed was quite wobbly, and you could feel every movement of your partner. Check-in was very easy and flexible, and communication with Dixie was excellent. She sent many tips and offers even before our arrival. Unfortunately, these weren't all up-to-date, and some of the opening hours didn't match reality. All in all, a nice, quiet room.
