About

The Monnett family has created something special at their La Verkin homestead. This cozy bed and breakfast sits on a quiet street where you can take evening walks with mountain and river views. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with that genuine warmth you only get from family-owned places.

After a day of hiking, the hot tub becomes your best friend. The pool is perfect for summer visits when the desert heat kicks in. They also rent e-bikes, which guests rave about (apparently it's a must-do according to visitors). Breakfast comes with the stay, and they're flexible about timing if you're heading out early for adventures.

La Verkin puts you about 30 minutes from Zion's main entrance, close enough for easy park access but far enough to escape the Springdale crowds. You're also well-positioned for Red Cliffs Reserve, Hurricane, and St. George if you want to explore beyond Zion. The location hits that sweet spot where you have good restaurant options nearby but still feel tucked away from the tourist bustle.

The Monnetts clearly take pride in hosting guests well. Reviews consistently mention their kindness and the extra care they provide. It's the kind of place where you feel welcomed rather than processed, which makes all the difference after long days on the trails.

I had a great time staying here. The location is quiet, but close to town. There are plenty of activities and good restaurants very close, and Zion is about 30 minutes away. The room was clean and well decorated. I found the bed very comfortable. The owners were friendly and quick to answer any questions I had. They offered e-bikes to rent for the day that were significantly cheaper than any of the other local businesses.

A very clean bed and breakfast wing featuring three separate rooms - each with their own thermostat and bathroom. The room has a queen sized bed, small table with two chairs, sitting chair and big-screen TV. I appreciated the touches like you get at a hotel - iron and ironing board, hair dryer, luggage rack, extra blanket and pillow in the closet, all the things you need in the bathroom (linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap), internet with access to High Speed Internet and several subscription services (like Disney +). The jacuzzi was so nice to relax in - and I plan on going back in warmer weather to use the pool, BBQ and picnic table. In the morning - there are breakfast sandwiches or burritos available to take breakfast to go or to sit and eat in the breakfast area. In the breakfast area you will have access to a fridge/freezer (with cold water), microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker.

One of the nicest accommodations on our trip along the West Coast of America. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped for self-catering (grill and microwave provided). The shared pool and hot tub were fantastic! Communication with Karen was quick and friendly! One of the best things was the e-bikes available for rent at a more than fair price. They're foldable, so they fit in almost any car. Riding them through Zion was an experience we would recommend to everyone. All in all, a wonderful place to stay that we can recommend to anyone planning a visit to Zion National Park and looking for a great, comfortable place to stay.
