You'll find Hitch-N-Post right in the heart of Kanab, which means everything you need is within walking distance. Gas station, grocery store, restaurants – it's all right there. The manager Rob has built a reputation for being genuinely helpful, especially with first-time RVers who need guidance on hookups and dump stations.

The sites come with full hookups and plenty of shade from mature trees. Clean restrooms and hot showers are standard, plus they've got coveted spots near the bath house that van travelers particularly appreciate. Tesla charging is available too (always ask about current rates and availability).

Yes, you'll hear some road noise – that's the trade-off for being in town rather than out in the desert. But the convenience factor is huge when you're road-tripping between national parks. You can walk your dog, grab dinner, and stock up on supplies without moving your rig.

The staff accommodates late arrivals and understands that travel schedules don't always go according to plan. It's the kind of place where experienced RVers and nervous first-timers get the same friendly treatment. Kanab sits perfectly between Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, making this a smart base camp for exploring southern Utah's big three.

We were so happy we found this spot. Driving back from phx to Montana after picking up a new rv. We arrived late. It was a small spot but that was based on the specs of our unit and reservation. Clean and cute, with some welcomed tree cover. Spaces were close together but not an issue. Woke up to find a cute little town with gas, restaurants and grocery within easy reach. Didn’t use any of the other facilities (besides the provided hook ups for our spot) but would definitely stay there again!

We had to stop for a couple of nights due to our truck needing repairs almost 100 miles away. Keesha was so nice and supportive during all of this. The campground and site was very clean and well maintained. Staff especially Keesha were all very courteous. Within walking distance is a very nice grocery, a laundromat, and restaurants. If we pass this way agin on the way home, will stay again 😊

The Hitch-N-Post RV Park in Kanab, UT is a nice, in town campground. The grounds and bathhouse are well kept, clean, and tidy. The manager, Keisha, and her assistant, Carlos, while highly accommodating and accessible, both have a friendly and pleasant demeanor. Being in town, (where a little street noise is the only drawback), does make the cg’s proximity to grocery stores and such highly convenient. The cost for the spot and its utilities, all included, even wifi, was on the lower end in the Kanab area. I would recommend this campground to anyone, whether just passing through or staying more long term.
