About

This century-old house operates as a bed and breakfast with individual rooms that feel more like staying in someone's thoughtfully appointed home. Each room comes with a mini-fridge (complete with labeled shelves for your groceries) and access to shared amenities that make longer stays practical.

The real draw here is the well-equipped community kitchen where you can prep your own meals between park visits. There's also an on-site laundry room with washer and dryer—a godsend when you're midway through a multi-park road trip. The house maintains its historic character while offering the modern conveniences that matter most to travelers.

Kanab sits perfectly between Zion (45 minutes) and Bryce Canyon (90 minutes), making this a strategic base camp for exploring both parks. The town itself earned the nickname "Little Hollywood" for hosting dozens of Western films, and you'll find several movie set replicas and film history museums within walking distance.

The inn keeps things simple and functional. Rooms are clean and comfortable with ample storage space. The shared nature of the kitchen and common areas means you might cross paths with other travelers, but the layout gives everyone plenty of space to spread out. It's the kind of place that works well for couples or small groups who want a home base without the expense of multiple hotel rooms.

Come now...isn't every place historic? Once there it has history. That being said, I did get a good night's rest.

The room was clean, but the toilet in the bathroom was funny didn't really want to flush down. Big closet in the room but no hangers. They named the shelves in the fridge so you can storage your food and drink. The house is old but we had good night rest. We stayed just for one night.

A great place to feel American for an evening or longer. There are several double rooms in the house, but we weren't disturbed at all during the night; we didn't even see a soul! Comfortable room, lots of thoughtful touches from the owners, clean bathroom. Our sink was clogged, but we still had a great time. I recommend it.
