Every pull-through site comes with full hookups and a covered cabana complete with gas firepit, lounge chairs, and picnic table. You're not just getting a parking spot. You're getting your own outdoor living room.
The bathhouses feel more like spa retreats than campground facilities. Heated tile floors keep your feet warm during chilly desert mornings. Water pressure is strong, temperatures stay consistent, and everything sparkles clean. Free showers with heated floors aren't something you expect at an RV park, but here they are.
Thursday evenings bring the whole campground together for social cookouts. The owners clearly care about creating community, not just collecting fees. They add improvements each year and maintain a well-stocked camp store with honor-system snacks (the banana bread gets rave reviews). A dedicated dog park keeps four-legged travelers happy while their humans relax by the firepit.
The location puts you just outside Kanab with easy access to town amenities, but far enough out to enjoy true quiet and those famous southern Utah views. On clear nights, you can see all the way to the Grand Canyon's North Rim from your site. The name isn't just marketing. This really is dark sky country, perfect for stargazing after the cookout winds down.

We just spent 4 days at Dark Sky RV park in Kanab UT. This is a small boutique style RV park. Family owned and operated. OMG I can’t say enough about this park. They send you emails and texts before your arrival with gate code. They meet you at the gate and offer you a cold beer! Answer any questions you may have. They have an APP with all sorts of helpful information. There is a covered community area where they have coolers full of beer, wine, nonalcoholic drinks and snack sold on the honor system. A serenity pond with gold fish and Zin music, fire ring, chairs and loungers, games and trails everywhere. Even swings to enjoy the sunset! Every site has two lounge chairs, a covered area with tables and chairs and gas fire ring. Gravel spots so you don’t have to worry about any landscaper cutting your cords! The bathhouse has outdoor showers as well. Close to Kanab but far enough so it is quite. Views are amazing.

Dark Sky RV Park tops our list of places to stay! The atmosphere feels like an outdoor meditation retreat, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a long day on the road. There are numerous cozy sitting areas with breathtaking views, and relaxing music flows throughout the park, enhancing the tranquil experience. We can’t wait to return! ♥️

Best RV vacation we’ve had. Accommodations were excellent — we did not want to leave. Thank you to the generous owners who made it all so lovely. Thank you for the dog park, the communal area, the ZEN pond, the campsite chairs, recliners and tables, cleanliness everywhere, respectful and friendly staff ……. We will be back.
