About

This Hurricane hotel puts families first with an indoor pool that includes a small waterslide (a rare find in budget-friendly properties). Kids love the splash factor while parents appreciate the adjoining hot tub for unwinding after long days exploring southern Utah's red rock country.

Breakfast and Room Amenities

The free hot breakfast gets consistent praise from guests, with hot options that fuel morning adventures. Coffee and tea stay available around the clock, and you'll find chocolate mints at the front desk for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Rooms come with two queen beds, spacious bathrooms, and reliable comfort that makes for solid sleep after hiking.

Location and Access

Hurricane sits about 20 minutes from Zion's main entrance, putting you close enough for easy park access while offering more lodging variety and often better rates than Springdale. The location works well if you're planning to hit local golf courses or explore multiple southern Utah destinations.

Staff and Overall Value

Staff consistently earn praise for their welcoming approach and willingness to help with local recommendations. The property feels well-maintained despite being a budget-conscious choice.

It's the kind of place that delivers on the basics (clean rooms, good breakfast, family amenities) without trying to be something it's not. For families looking to balance Zion access with kid-friendly amenities and reasonable rates, this Hurricane location hits the sweet spot.

Stayed with family and had 2 rooms booked. We had family decide to stay and we needed to book 2 more rooms. Expedia price always $10 more than what the comfort inn website stated. But the website would not let me log in. If I put in the email it said there wasn't an account but when I tried to create one it said there wasn't. Ap I called their reservation line to see if I could book that way, expecting the same price as the web site. They quoted me $70 MORE than the web site. I explained that and they said it was wrong and it I booked it that way I'd have to pay the difference when we checked in. Which makes NO sense!! I ended up booking on Expedia, but if we didn't already have part of the family at the hotel, I would have definitely found a different hotel. Good service makes a HUGE difference in any experience. Hotel was newer, pretty clean and pool was decent but cold. Breakfast was decent.

Stayed here two nights with two children and visited Zion during our stay. The room and public spaces were all very clean, well organized, spacious, and the staff were all positive and attentive.
