Relaxed camping with hot showers, communal kitchen, and luxurious amenities for road trip recovery.
Camp Land Beyond Zion offers a refreshing take on camping with amenities that feel luxurious after days on the road. The hot showers alone are worth the stay, and the well-appointed communal kitchen gives you everything you need to prep meals and connect with fellow travelers. It's the kind of place that strikes the perfect balance between outdoor adventure and creature comforts.
The relaxed atmosphere makes it ideal for families and dog owners looking for a comfortable base camp. You're not roughing it here – think of it as elevated camping that lets you recharge properly between adventures. The setup encourages that easy camping camaraderie where you might swap trail stories over coffee or plan the next day's hike with new friends.
Located in Fredonia, you're positioned perfectly for exploring both Arizona and Utah's canyon country. Zion National Park is an easy drive north, but you're also well-placed for the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (when it's open seasonally) and the stunning red rock country that defines this corner of the Southwest. It's a strategic spot that many travelers overlook, which means you get the benefits of a great location without the crowds of the gateway towns.

We absolutely loved our 5-day stay at Camp Land Beyond Zion. This place is truly special and a huge part of that is because of the incredible new owners, Tiffany and Gil. They are genuinely some of the best humans and have created such a welcoming, peaceful, and community-centered space. Anyone who stays here will quickly understand why people fall in love with this place. The property is beautiful, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed with van travelers and campers in mind. We especially loved all the amenities including the outdoor kitchen, shaded eating areas, amazing showers, and the overall attention to detail throughout the property. The views are stunning and the location is perfect… close to Zion while still feeling peaceful and removed from the crowds. Everything was clean, well cared for, and had such a warm atmosphere. You can truly feel the heart Tiffany and Gil have put into this space. We did not want to leave and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend Camp Land Beyond Zion if you are looking for a place that feels more like an experience and community than just a campground.

An absolute must-stay near Zion National Park! If you are looking for top-tier camping or glamping near Zion, Camp Land Beyond Zion is the perfect spot. Located in Cane Beds (about 45 minutes from the Zion Canyon shuttle), it offers stunning panoramic desert views and unmatched starry night skies without the National Park crowds. The property has excellent amenities, including powered RV sites, water hookups, and a great communal outdoor kitchen/fire pit area. The vibes are incredibly welcoming, inclusive, and peaceful. Plus, it’s super close to a local grocery store, microbrewery, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Truly a 10/10 basecamp for exploring the Southwest.

Land Beyond Zion is such a lovely camp. The hosts greeted me as soon as I arrived and knew my name! They gave me options of where to park, and then once I was settled in walked me around to see where all the amenities were. The entire environment is very inviting, safe, and comfortable. It’s geared towards community and connection with multiple places to lay in hammocks and areas where you can sit and relax and have conversations with other guests. During my stay I was there just for the night after hiking water canyon (which was only a 13 minute drive from the exit of the canyon) and I was tired so I kept more to my self but other guests were socializing at the outdoor kitchen. The kitchens are fully stocked very much like a hostile and have anything you need to cook a meal, and space for refrigerating foods that need to be stored for tent campers or those without coolers. They even have extra coolers for guests as well as towels etc. it really made being out side in nature less stressful, I think it’s a beautiful camp and the solar powered night lights combined with the dark sky and vibrant stars was actually a core memory for me . It brought its own type of mag C to the atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and would stay again and bring people with me if I’m in the area again next time. Side note it is female owned and female ran and welcoming of all folks and I truly appreciate that.
