Bumbleberry Inn

Casual family lodging with an on-site bakery, restaurant, and petting zoo

About

The Bumbleberry Inn feels less like a hotel and more like a small village right in the heart of Springdale. This family-run property combines comfortable lodging with its own ecosystem of amenities. You'll find a Southwestern restaurant (Porter's), a beloved bakery, a gift shop, even a small petting zoo out back. Kids and adults alike love it. It's the kind of place where different family members run different parts of the business, and that personal touch shows.

Rooms and Amenities

Rooms are spacious and clean, with patios that face either the red rock canyon walls or the charming mini-farm behind the property. The included breakfast at Porter's next door is generous (think hearty portions of Southwestern classics). The on-site bakery turns out fresh pies and pastries that have become a Springdale institution. The pool provides welcome relief after dusty hikes. It closes in winter when the hot tub takes over as the gathering spot.

Prime Location and Helpful Staff

Location-wise, you're golden. The Zion entrance sits just minutes up the road, and you can walk to most of Springdale's shops and restaurants. The staff hands out helpful printouts about what's open (especially useful in the off-season). They seem genuinely invested in making sure you have a good stay. They even maintain a DVD library for those evenings when you're too tired to do anything but crash.

The whole setup works particularly well for families. Between the animals, the pool, and the bakery treats, kids stay happy. Parents appreciate the practical touches like good Wi-Fi and wheelchair accessibility. It's not luxury lodging, but it offers something better: a warm, quirky base camp that makes your Zion adventure feel special from the moment you check in.

Nice clean rooms. The breakfast voucher they give you for Porters makes this place a great stay.

We initially reserved 2 nights..at check in..we added 2 more. The breakfast is a voucher for a restaraunt within walking distance..but we drove. You get anything on the menu!!! For free!! Every night you stay. It was so freaking good..we went back for supper too!

The staff are nice, good views, it's a good location, the breakfast is a nice perk too. Unfortunately, they gave us misleading pricing at the time of booking. If you book for 3, 4 or 5 guests per room instead of the usual 2 they quote a lower price not including charges for the additional guests though the booking confirmation page and email say it's for 3/4/5 guests. They don't tell you the actual room charges until check in. Only then you're suddenly hit with a $100+ up charge for the additional guests. Of course it's too late to cancel by then, unpleasant surprise
