About

Aikens Lodge brings a touch of retro charm to Kanab with clean, comfortable rooms that hit the sweet spot between nostalgia and modern comfort. The motel's vintage aesthetic pairs perfectly with updated amenities like free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and thoughtful touches like bedside reading lights. Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms.

The seasonal outdoor pool provides a refreshing break after long days exploring southern Utah's red rock country. The property maintains a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for families and travelers looking to unwind without breaking the bank.

Kanab sits perfectly positioned for exploring multiple national parks and monuments. You're about 45 minutes from Zion's east entrance via the scenic Zion-Mount Carmel Highway, and equally close to the North Rim of Grand Canyon (seasonal), Bryce Canyon, and Coral Pink Sand Dunes. The town itself offers plenty of dining options and serves as a popular filming location for Western movies.

The lodge delivers solid value with rates that leave room in your budget for park adventures and local dining. Staff are known for being helpful with area recommendations and travel tips. It's the kind of place that proves you don't need luxury amenities to have a great stay when the basics are done right.

Aiken's Lodge in Kanab is a simple but very convenient base for visiting the area's parks. The rooms are basic but clean, with everything you need for a short stay. The location is good, with convenient parking. Perfect for those looking for convenience and a good base during a road trip.

This was a last minute booking through Priceline due to everything within close proximity to Zion NP was either booked, closed (campgrounds) or approaching 800 dollars a night. Overall was pleasantly surprised. Our purpose was just to have a place to sleep and this was more than adequate. There are absolutely no frills or amenities, but we didn’t need any. Having to check in at the Best Western down the block was a little inconvenient, but makes sense. Room was clean. No bugs, no smell. Definitely an old property, but has been maintained well. There was no noise, and our room was able to accommodate our family of 6. Room had a fridge, no microwave. Tv service minimal. Breakfast was at the best western (pretty easy walk) and was very good. I would book here again if needed.

A centrally located lodge in the heart of Kanab. Check-in, check-out, and breakfast were at the neighboring hotel. Breakfast was a typical American buffet with two hot items. Attentive staff ensured that everything was plentiful. The rooms are a good size and bright, with a small refrigerator. However, our beds were in separate rooms. Street noise was minimal.
