Twin Brothers
Twin sandstone temples on Zion Canyon's eastern skyline.
About
Twin Brothers is a pair of matched sandstone summits on the east side of Zion Canyon, north of Pine Creek — one of the park's named "temples," the tall, unfractured rock towers left standing after the softer surrounding rock eroded away. Between Twin Brothers and the neighboring Mountain of the Sun sit classic hanging valleys, carved features typical of this stretch of canyon.
There's no trail built specifically to Twin Brothers — it's a formation you view rather than climb, best appreciated from pullouts and trails along the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive or from viewpoints on the canyon's west side looking east. As with most of Zion Canyon's named peaks, its real draw is the skyline it adds to the canyon rather than a hiking objective of its own.
