About

The Corral is the lower trailhead for the Applecross Trail System, a network of purpose-built mountain bike trails on private ranch land about a mile outside Zion National Park's eastern boundary, just off Highway 9 on North Fork Road. The name comes from the small fenced staging area riders pass through before climbing out on trails like Little Dipper toward the system's flowing downhill runs.

Good to know

  • Opened in November 2021 and expanded to roughly 35 miles of singletrack, aimed mainly at beginner and intermediate riders
  • Sits between about 6,000 and 6,800 feet elevation; the riding season generally runs mid-May through October
