About

Show Me the Money is a short, technical singletrack descent on Grafton Mesa, part of a Bureau of Land Management trail network just outside Rockville, one of the small towns on Highway 9 south of Zion National Park. This is built for mountain bikes, not foot traffic: a black-diamond drop of roughly a mile that loses about 200 feet of elevation working along the mesa's west edge before rejoining the doubletrack above.

Getting there

  • Access runs from Rockville's Bridge Road onto Grafton Road, then the unpaved Smithsonian Butte Road — a rough climb locally nicknamed "cry baby hill" that calls for a high-clearance vehicle.
  • The route passes near the historic Grafton ghost town, a well-known stop for visitors already spending time in the Zion area.
  • The trail connects to companion routes "More Money" and the shorter "Lazy Money" alternate on the same mesa.

This is BLM land, not a National Park Service trail, and there's no walking path here in the usual sense — it's built and maintained for riders working the Grafton Mesa/Wire Mesa network.
