A climb-and-descent pairing in Zion's Applecross mountain bike network.

About
Ring Around the Rosie is a mountain-bike trail in the Applecross network on Zion's east side near Orderville, despite the "climbing" in its name — the trail has both a climbing section and a matching descent, and riders typically use whichever piece fits their route through the system.
What to expect
- The climb gains roughly 370 feet over about a mile of steady, technical pedaling; the descent covers similar ground with steeper pitches and tighter turns than the network's easier flow trails.
- It's rated for intermediate riders — more demanding than beginner lines like Lollipop, but not as advanced as the network's expert downhill runs.
- Like the rest of Applecross, it's reached from the North Fork Road trailheads off Highway 9, on land donated by Zion Mountain Ranch and Clear Creek Ranch as part of the Greater Zion trail system.
