Pace Knoll

Pace Knoll is a high point near Zion's Kolob Canyons district, reached by a steep, brushy scramble described in backcountry trip reports rather than any official park guide. It sits off I-15 near the Black Ridge exit and has occasionally been used as an unofficial cross-country approach into Kolob Canyons, dropping through brush toward Timber Creek to pick up the park's real trail system.

• Not an NPS-maintained trail or a recommended access route — most hikers should use the marked Kolob Canyons trailheads instead
• Views from the top are the main reward for those who make the scramble
