Lunar Ride Trail

Lunar Ride is a fork off the Little Dipper trail in the lower Applecross mountain bike network, built on the east side of Zion just outside the park's boundary along North Fork Road.

On the bike

• It's built as a fast, flowy line — a berm sequence and rollers rather than a technical, exposed descent — a change of pace from expert lines like Maverick and Sidewinder that share the same trailhead area.
• The Applecross system totals about 35 miles of purpose-built singletrack, developed through a partnership between Zion Cycles' "Fund the Flow" initiative, the Zion National Park Forever Project, and the Greater Zion tourism office.
• The trails sit on land just east of the park, not inside it — a genuinely Zion-linked network but a separate riding destination from anything inside park boundaries.
