About

The Lollipop Trail is part of the Applecross network, a 35-mile system of purpose-built mountain bike trails on private ranch land in Orderville, on Zion's east side. It's a beginner-friendly loop, climbing gently through pinon and juniper woods before returning to the trailhead. The land was made available for public riding through an arrangement between local ranch owners and the Zion National Park Forever Project, part of the broader push to build out recreation on Zion's less-crowded east side.

Good to know

  • Trailhead access is off North Fork County Road, about a mile east of Zion's east entrance
  • Riding season runs roughly mid-May through October; elevation on the network ranges from about 6,000 to 6,800 feet
  • Rated beginner-friendly, a good entry point into the network
