Little Dipper Trail

Little Dipper is an intermediate connector trail in the Applecross mountain bike trail system, on private ranch land just east of Zion's east entrance along North Fork Road. Built by Zion Mountain Ranch and Clear Creek Ranch and opened to the public in 2021, Applecross now spans roughly 35 miles of purpose-built singletrack in the East Zion area.

• Little Dipper links to the expert one-way Bison Escape trail and the Canyon Connection trail
• Part of a stacked-loop system with green, blue, and black-rated options
• Trailhead sits about a mile outside Zion's east gate off Highway 9
• This is a mountain biking trail network, not a park-maintained hiking trail

It's a good option for riders looking to build skills on flowing, well-built terrain rather than the exposed slickrock riding found on the BLM trail systems farther west near Hurricane and Virgin.
