Juniper Rush Trail

Juniper Rush is a mountain-bike descent inside the Pinion Run loop of the Applecross trail system, the singletrack network built east of Zion National Park's East Entrance in Kane County starting in 2021. It's a fast, flowing downhill line — descriptions of it range from an easygoing green/blue run to a more advanced descent, so riders should scope it before committing at speed. The trail sits outside Zion's park boundary, part of the broader East Zion recreation area developed with the Zion National Park Forever Project and Utah's Division of Outdoor Recreation, in a system that now covers roughly 35 miles of purpose-built trail. It connects into the wider Clear Creek/Applecross network near Orderville, giving riders a loop option rather than an out-and-back. As with the rest of Applecross, this is bike-focused terrain, not a hiking trail in the traditional sense — expect fast-moving riders if you're on foot.
