Herbs Point
An off-the-map summit in Zion's high Kolob backcountry.
About
Herbs Point is a 7,306-foot summit in the high plateau country west of Zion's Kolob Terrace, part of the same rugged tableland that holds Kolob Reservoir and Lava Point. It sits in Washington County's backcountry rather than inside a developed section of the park.
There's no official NPS trail description for Herbs Point, and it doesn't appear on Zion's Kolob Terrace wilderness trail list — this is off-the-radar high country, likely reached, if at all, by bushwhacking or old forest routes rather than a signed, maintained path. If you're headed out this way, treat it as a backcountry navigation objective rather than a casual day hike, and confirm current land-management boundaries and access before you go.
