Dig It Trail
An off-the-books cruiser on Grafton Mesa.

About
Dig It is a short connector segment in the Grafton Mesa trail network, an informal, user-built system of mountain bike singletrack on the mesa south of Rockville — reached via Bridge Road and the town's historic river crossing toward Smithsonian Butte Road. It's an unsanctioned trail, not built or maintained by any land management agency, and riders take it on at their own risk.
What it is
- A fairly flat, cruiser-style stretch of about 0.8 miles, losing roughly 50 feet of elevation as it links the South Wash trail to another segment called Reach Around.
- Part of a larger unofficial network with rougher, more technical sections elsewhere on the mesa.
- Riding season runs roughly March through November; the route isn't signed, so a GPS track is strongly recommended.
