About

The Connector Trail links two of the Kolob Terrace section's main routes in Zion National Park, joining the Hop Valley Trail on one side of Kolob Terrace Road with the Wildcat Canyon Trail on the other. From the Wildcat Canyon Trailhead, it splits off after about 1.2 miles, descending below Pine Valley Peak and crossing the meadows of Lee Valley before reaching the road.

Good to know

  • Most hikers use it as a link for longer point-to-point routes, including the multi-day Zion Traverse, rather than as a standalone destination
  • Views open up across Lee Valley toward Pine Valley Peak's white sandstone
  • Reached from Kolob Terrace Road northwest of Virgin — snow closes the road roughly November through April
  • Carry your own water; there's no reliable source directly on this stretch
