Bullpen Mountain

Bullpen Mountain is a roughly 7,054-foot summit in the northern Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park, sitting between Beartrap Canyon and Langston Mountain in Washington County's Kolob Reservoir country. The surrounding landscape is classic Kolob Canyons terrain — soaring Navajo Sandstone cliffs cut by deep, narrow finger canyons.

No maintained trail is documented to Bullpen Mountain's summit; reaching it means off-trail backcountry travel through wilderness terrain, not a marked day hike. Kolob Canyons is a separate, less-visited district of Zion from the main canyon, with its own entrance off I-15 well north of Springdale. Anyone considering a route here should have real off-trail navigation experience, check current wilderness regulations, and be prepared for the elevation and remoteness of this part of the park.
