Bee Hive

Bee Hive Peak is a remote sandstone summit reached from the area around the Zion Human History Museum. It's known among climbers for its Southeast Ridge route, sometimes called the Angelino Wall, a 5.7R rock climb described by those who've done it as loose, dirty, and demanding.

Good to know

• The route mixes loose scrambling, exposed 4th-class terrain, and a crux pitch through cracks and brush to a two-bolt belay
• Aging fixed ropes exist on parts of the approach but shouldn't be trusted
• This is a technical rock climbing objective, not a hiking trail

There's no maintained path here and no casual way up — Bee Hive Peak is strictly for experienced climbers with the gear and judgment to handle loose rock and old anchors. Most park visitors will only ever see it from a distance.
