About
Bay Ridge Access Trail is a short connector path in the East Zion trail network near Orderville and the Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort area, in the same cluster as the Applecross mountain bike trail system. Available trail-mapping sources list it as a brief access route of only a few hundred feet, used to link into the broader network rather than as a standalone hiking or riding destination.
Good to know
- Documentation on this specific segment is limited; treat it as a connector, not a destination hike in its own right.
- It sits within the same pinyon-juniper, 6,000-to-6,800-foot elevation zone as the neighboring Applecross and Zion Ponderosa trails east of the park.
- Use a current trail map, such as Trailforks or the Applecross system map, for exact routing before relying on this segment to connect between trails.
- This is not an NPS-maintained trail inside Zion's boundary.
