Abraham Peak

Abraham Peak is the tallest of the Three Patriarchs, the trio of sandstone monoliths on the west side of Zion Canyon named in 1916 by Methodist minister Frederick Fisher for the biblical figures Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. At 6,890 feet, it rises south of Isaac and Jacob peaks along the same ridge.

The classic view is from the Court of the Patriarchs overlook, reached by a short, steep trail off Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. From April through October the scenic drive is closed to private vehicles, so getting there means riding the park's free shuttle to the Court of the Patriarchs stop, early on the canyon loop.
