Scenic desert golf with stunning red rock views and year-round play at an exceptional value.
Sky Mountain delivers some of the most dramatic golf scenery in southern Utah. The course winds through high desert terrain with sweeping views of red rock formations that'll have you reaching for your camera between shots. Even on your worst golf day, the backdrop makes every hole feel like a postcard.
The layout strikes a smart balance between challenge and playability. Well-maintained greens and fairways keep the course in solid condition year-round, while thoughtful tee placement gives golfers of all skill levels a fair shot. The blue tees on the final hole offer views that are worth the extra yardage, even if you're not feeling confident with your driver.
At around $78 for greens fees (seasonal pricing varies), Sky Mountain stands out as exceptional value golf in the region. The pro shop staff knows the course well and can point you toward the best tee boxes for your game. The snack bar serves up decent sandwiches if you need fuel for the back nine.
Located in Hurricane, the course sits about 20 minutes from Zion's main entrance, making it a perfect complement to your national park visit. Whether you're looking to unwind after hiking or want to squeeze in 18 holes before exploring the canyon, Sky Mountain offers a completely different way to experience southern Utah's stunning landscape.

Some of the best views in the St George area and great overall value. Sky Mountain has the absolute best driving range view of any course we played on our recent golf trip with some amazing views on the finishing holes. This course reminds me of a local muni that is well cared for with plenty of folks playing on the course wearing jeans and t-shirts. Tees, fairways, and greens were all in really good shape and putts rolled true and pretty quick. Pace of play was pretty decent with our foursome finishing our round in about 4.5 hours. This was the second 18 of the day and last course we played on our trip so it would have been easy to forget, but the finishing holes will leave an impression. Staff here was great, especially the lady taking care of the carts. One thing to be aware of is that if you hit outside of the fairway/rough the desert area is very unforgiving. Lots of black volcanic rock mixed in with the shrubs which makes it really tough if not impossible to play out of if you're not on with your driver. Some of the fairways on the front are fairly tight so be aware if you enjoy hunting for balls. Great track overall!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sky Mountain Golf Course is an absolute hidden gem in Southern Utah. From the moment you arrive, you're treated to incredible views of Zion's towering cliffs and the surrounding red rock landscape. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but the golf experience is even better. The course was in fantastic condition, with lush fairways, well-maintained greens, and a layout that is both fun and challenging. The elevation changes create some memorable shots, and every hole offers a unique experience. It's the kind of course that keeps you engaged from the first tee to the final putt. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the pace of play was excellent. Whether you're a local or visiting the area, Sky Mountain is a must-play course that combines beautiful scenery, great conditions, and tremendous value. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Southern Utah.
