Scout Bar & Grill
Casual bar and grill serving steaks, burgers, and barbecue with craft cocktails and live music.
About
Scout Bar & Grill brings upscale casual dining to Springdale with a menu built around American comfort food done right. The kitchen turns out solid steaks, juicy burgers, tender brisket, and crispy wings. You'll also find breakfast plates that'll fuel your morning hikes.
The bar program matches the food with craft cocktails, local beers, and a wine selection that pairs well with everything from pork belly to barbecue.
The Perfect Atmosphere
The atmosphere strikes that sweet spot between polished and relaxed. You'll find families sharing plates of wings next to couples splitting steaks. The space feels more refined than your typical sports bar but never stuffy.
The outdoor seating works perfectly for Springdale's mild evenings, especially when live music fills the patio.
Late Night Dining Option
Scout stays open later than many spots in town. That makes it a reliable dinner option when you roll into Springdale after a long day exploring. The staff keeps things friendly and accommodating. They're good about working with you if something runs out (it happens in small mountain towns).
Whether you're celebrating a successful Angels Landing hike with cocktails or just need a hearty meal before tomorrow's adventure, Scout delivers. You'll get the kind of straightforward, satisfying experience that hits the spot after a day in Zion.

I understand it is a tourist town so i expected the higher prices, but if you are going to charge $22 for a burger, it should be good. This was some sort of Gordon Food Services perfectly round patty that was over cooked. Burger was super greasy and no flavor despite the BBQ pork on it. The chicken salad was ok, chicken had strong grill/burnt flavor but was juicy. It was large strips served on a plate so small you couldn't cut it without spilling salad off the plate. We went to Oscar's the next day and it was perfection. You can see from my profile I rarely leave a bad review...

Burgers were good, brisket bland and tough.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing dining experience. The chicken was extremely dry, and the salads were noticeably underdressed. We sent one salad back to be corrected, but when it returned, it was worse than before. To make matters worse, the place was very pricey. Throughout the meal, our server never checked in to see how things were going, which meant she never addressed our issue. In fact, another staff member—not our server—eventually asked what was wrong and even brought the check at the end. Given the food quality, lack of attentiveness, and high prices, this experience was a waste, and I will not return. This is disappointing since the restaurant is very nice inside and I would’ve wanted to go back during my stay in Zion.
