About

Origin Breakfast Buffet operates as a hotel-style breakfast service in Kanab, offering a straightforward morning meal option for travelers. The buffet runs daily from 7 to 10 AM, making it one of the few consistent breakfast spots in town with reliable hours seven days a week.

The setup is classic hotel breakfast fare. You'll find standard buffet items like eggs, potatoes, and coffee at $12 plus tax per person. It's the kind of place that gets the job done when you need fuel before heading out to explore the area's attractions.

The location can be a bit tricky to spot since signage is minimal, but it's housed within a hotel property. If you're staying nearby or just need a quick breakfast before hitting the road to Zion (45 minutes away) or other southern Utah destinations, it serves that purpose. The casual atmosphere works well for families and groups who want to grab a bite without fuss.

Kanab sits at the crossroads of several major parks, making it a practical base for exploring. Origin fits into that practical travel mindset. It's not a destination restaurant, but rather a convenient option when you're planning day trips to Zion, Bryce Canyon, or the Grand Canyon North Rim.

We could not find this place. I gave it an extra star because they answered the phone.

Terrible food, I genuinely could not stomach it, so nasty. The eggs were gross, boxed powder, and the potatoes tasty moldy.

Coffee had ann off flavor. Eggs tasted like they were from a powdered mix.

Wasn't really sure this breakfast place called 'Origins' even existed. There are no signs indicating anything. I assure you it does exist! It's a hotel style breakfast buffet. It's located in the hotel. It cost $12+tax and it's available everyday 7-10. There's not many places in town open everyday! It's all you can eat. I would say it's better than most hotel breakfast buffets but it's not gourmet. The cheesy eggs were amazing when comparing with others hotel breakfasts. The coffee was great. The service was friendly. There was only a couple other tables occupied by hotel customers. They left and we had the whole place to ourselves on a Wednesday morning. I believe this is a free breakfast if you stay the night at this hotel.
