About

Mike runs this straightforward BBQ joint with the kind of welcoming smile that makes you feel like a regular from day one. The pulled pork comes smoky and juicy straight from the pit, while the brisket delivers that authentic barbecue flavor. You'll also find ribs, coleslaw, potato salad, and those French fries that come standard with most plates.

The kettlecorn adds a sweet touch to the experience (it's right there in the name, after all). This isn't fine dining, just honest barbecue done the traditional way. You can grab a table inside or take your order to go.

Location and Service

Orderville sits perfectly between Zion and Bryce Canyon, making this a natural lunch stop during your southern Utah road trip. It's the kind of local spot where the owner knows his regulars and treats newcomers like they've been coming for years. The service moves quickly, so you won't lose much daylight from your park adventures.

After a morning exploring the slot canyons or hiking the high country trails, pulled pork and kettlecorn hit the spot. Simple food, fair prices, and that small-town Utah hospitality that makes the drive between parks more memorable.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I want to issue a fair warning to future customers. The atmosphere is cool, I enjoyed the variety of taxidermy animals. The staff were also very friendly. Issues: Tables and booths needed to be wiped down. The salt shaker was sticky. All tables except one were out of napkins. The bbq sauce and food (brisket, pork, fries) were tasty, just not hot enough. There was also a fair amount of fat in the brisket. The water was room temperature, as they were out of ice. It seemed like there was no AC, so it was fairly warm inside as we ate. It was cooler outside than inside. If only one or two of these were an issue, I wouldn’t bother leaving a review, but the combination of all these factors made the meal much less enjoyable.
