Cuban comfort food with homemade ice cream and fresh-made everything from breakfast through dinner.
This cheerful Cuban café brings island flavors to Kanab's main drag with dishes made from scratch daily. The beef plates come with black beans and sweet plantains. The Cubano sandwich presses perfectly crispy. Even the key lime ice cream gets made in-house.
You order at the counter then grab a table (no wait, no fuss). The menu spans breakfast omelets to dinner steaks, with Cuban specialties alongside American favorites like burgers and wraps. The homemade pecan pie disappears fast. Coffee's strong and the portions are generous.
The dining room feels light and airy with Cuban music playing softly. Families fill the tables, and the patio welcomes dogs. Military discount available. It's the kind of place locals return to every Kanab visit.
Perfect fuel between Zion adventures and Bryce explorations. Kanab sits right between both parks, making this a natural lunch stop. The authentic Cuban flavors surprise visitors expecting typical small-town fare. Everything tastes lovingly prepared, from the morning omelets to the evening plantains.

At first, I thought it was just a regular Mexican-style joint. Nothing could be further from the truth. The service was great. The food was much lighter, but the portions were large. Lots of vegetables. We really enjoyed it.

You have to order qt a station but otherwise very good and the food is delicious and the singular serving staff guy was very fun and personable and was nice to talk with. You get to choose your table too.
