About

This family-owned Mexican restaurant brings authentic warmth to Kanab's dining scene. The welcoming atmosphere starts the moment you walk in, where the owners treat every guest like family. Their complimentary chips and salsa alone are worth the visit (seriously tasty stuff), and the generous portions ensure you'll leave satisfied.

The menu covers all the classics you're craving after a day exploring southern Utah's canyons. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and taco salads come loaded with fresh ingredients. They've got plenty of gluten-free options too, which is rare in smaller towns. The portions are genuinely huge, so come hungry or plan to take leftovers back to your hotel.

The patio offers gorgeous views while you eat, and there's a real community vibe inside where locals and travelers mix easily. You can grab breakfast before hitting the slot canyons, lunch between adventures, or dinner to cap off your day. They serve beer and coffee alongside the food, covering all your bases.

Kanab sits perfectly between Zion National Park and the famous slot canyons like Antelope Canyon, making this a natural stop during your southern Utah road trip. It's the kind of place that reminds you why family-owned restaurants beat chains every time.

I always judge a new Mexican joint on their chili verde. This was average. My wife judges a joint on their rice and beans which were very good. The service was fast and efficient and friendly. It's a small place and the kitchen staff were laughing and joking and screaming so loudly that it was a bit off-putting. Not that big a deal. I'd eat here again.

Great gluten free options. The owner was our waitress and was super helpful. Would go back for sure if back in this part of the country! Room to park our rv too.

From Louisiana but have tried authentic Mexican from Progresso, Mexico. If you're not from the area, I recommend doing your research prior to just showing up and being surprised. That's what causes many low-star reviews. Uneducated people. Kanab, UT doesn't serve liquor so don't expect margaritas! However, our beer was served with frosted mugs (we sat on the patio). The salsa was definitely different, but delicious! The first basket of chips and salsa is on the house. I recommend the Carnitas! So tender and juicy- absolutely to die for. Full of flavor! The beans and rice: chefs kiss! The service- prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is family tradition and very welcoming! Highly recommend if you're looking for true authentic Mexican food!!!
