About

The concept hits you the moment you walk in. Raw steaks arrive at your table alongside glowing volcanic stones heated to 750 degrees. You become the chef, searing each bite exactly how you want it. The interactive experience works surprisingly well, especially for groups who want to make dinner into an event.

The menu covers all the steakhouse classics plus seafood options, but the real draw is the hot stone cooking. Flatiron, ribeye, and filet mignon all get the volcanic treatment. If you prefer traditional preparation, the kitchen will handle that too. Swiss cheese fondue makes for a solid starter, and the chocolate fondue dessert (ask to mix milk and dark chocolate) caps things off nicely.

The atmosphere leans artsy with dim lighting and an upscale vibe that works for date nights or family celebrations. Servers know the drill and walk you through the hot stone process without making it feel gimmicky. The outdoor patio adds another dining option when weather cooperates.

Located in St. George, it's an easy dinner stop whether you're exploring Snow Canyon, heading to Zion, or just looking for something different from the usual chain restaurants. The experience factor makes it memorable, and the steaks deliver on quality. Reservations recommended, especially on weekends.

Steak was amazing! No sauce needed. Mushrooms were also delicious, I wish there were more. I highly recommend the Anasazi steak house to one and all. Great food, service and good times. Well worth it!
