About

Driftwood Lodge brings a cozy mountain retreat atmosphere to the heart of Springdale. It sits just minutes from Zion National Park's entrance. This rustic property combines the charm of a traditional lodge with modern comforts. It offers spacious rooms that provide a welcoming haven after days spent exploring the canyons. Each accommodation features comfortable beds and private balconies. Guests can take in the surrounding red rock vistas that make this corner of Utah so spectacular.

The lodge's location along Springdale's main thoroughfare puts visitors within easy walking distance of the town's restaurants, galleries, and outfitters. While not immediately adjacent to the park visitor center, the property offers convenient access to the Zion Canyon shuttle system. This makes it simple to reach trailheads for iconic hikes like Angels Landing and The Narrows. The friendly staff helps guests plan their park adventures. They also help navigate the area's many attractions.

Though the property maintains its rustic character, some quirks come with the territory. Guests note that hot water can take time to reach the rooms. Ongoing renovations in certain areas may impact the tranquility some seek in a mountain getaway. Still, Driftwood Lodge delivers an authentic Springdale experience for certain travelers. These are the ones who prioritize location, comfort, and those stunning balcony views of Zion's dramatic landscape. The lodge captures the spirit of this gateway community. The combination of spacious accommodations and walkable access to both town amenities and park shuttles makes it a practical base. From here, visitors can explore everything Zion National Park has to offer.

Try cancel 2 days prior due to unexpected family emergency still would not waive the one night stay cancelation fee. Front desk was not helpful at all.

We've stayed here twice! Staff is great, the view is awesome, housekeeper brought new towels and took our trash out daily while we were out hiking! The pool area is very clean as well! See you next year!!!

⭐⭐⭐ The location of the Driftwood Lodge is very convenient for visiting Zion. We also appreciated the $8 per person breakfast vouchers for Oscar’s Cafe, which was a nice perk. The rooms are nice with some good canyon/river views. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by finding a dead cockroach in our room upon arrival. The hotel did move us to another room, which we appreciated, but the staff wasn’t particularly friendly or apologetic when we brought the issue to their attention. Given the price of the accommodations, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and customer service. Overall, there were definitely positives, but for what we paid, I would have expected a better overall guest experience.
