Desert Pearl Inn
Contemporary riverside inn with spacious suites featuring full kitchenettes, private balconies, and pool amenities.
About
The Desert Pearl Inn sits right along the Virgin River, where you can watch the water flow past from your private balcony. Every room comes with a full kitchenette (plates, mugs, silverware, the works) and plenty of space to spread out. The River's Edge Suites are the move here if you want extra room and those prime river views.
Perfect Location
You're walking distance to everything in Springdale. The shuttle to Zion stops right at the hotel entrance, so you can skip the parking hassles entirely. After a day on the trails, the pool and hot tub hit the spot. The gift shop covers any forgotten essentials.
What Makes It Great
The housekeeping team keeps everything spotless, and the kitchenettes make it easy to prep breakfast or pack trail snacks. Families appreciate the space and the ability to eat in when needed. The location puts you in the heart of Springdale while still feeling tucked away by the river.
Why Stay Here
This is Springdale's go-to choice for visitors who want contemporary comfort with that riverside setting. The combination of location, amenities, and those Virgin River views makes it a solid base for exploring Zion Canyon.

I have stayed here probably 10-15x since the early oughts. Last night was an overnight stop, specifically booked so we could drive the spectacular Hwy 89 (up from Page), to arrive via the back door to Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It is easily the nicest hotel in Springdale in terms of beds and amenities. Attention to detail at every level. I would not, however, return during “season” due to elevated summer pricing. Two big changes since my last time here (2) driving into the park from above, high profile vehicles no longer allowed. rendering traffic station staffing obsolete. Saw an unhappy RV being turned away at main entrance; (2) Zion lodge is accessible by shuttle only. Electronic gate requiring code for lodges guests only. But not such a big deal shuttle runs every 15min from first light until 8pm. Read this book! About botanizing the Grand Canyon floor in 1930s, I can’t put it down.

4 women in a riverside room with walk out to the lawn, Virgin River, mule deer, kitchenette, large room and bath area. Was a great stay, across from both bus stops, not far from the Zion park gates, beautiful canyon views on each side making the most of sunset and sunrise, and wonderful restaurants; @WildThyme, @SpottedDog, @Bit&Spur, @TheParkHouse

We love everything about the Desert Pearl! It truly is a calm, serene oasis. We've stayed there twice and each time was great. The rooms are clean, spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. You can get pool or river views from your room. We love walking right out of our room to the beautiful pool. The rock views are beautiful, too. There is a restaurant with good food on site as well as Utah E-bike Adventures, which makes renting a bike super easy and convenient (if you visit Zion, rent an ebike - best tip I have - you wont regret it). Deer often wander through the property, which are fun to watch. The staff and service was also excellent. We would definitely come back again and again!
