Trail Description

The Canyon Overlook Trail begins at the trailhead with a set of stone steps that ascend the side of the canyon. The trail is well-maintained and marked, featuring a combination of sandstone, dirt, and wooden boardwalks.

As you hike along the trail, you'll pass through a series of short tunnels carved into the sandstone and walk along a cliffside ledge, offering views of Pine Creek Canyon below. The trail also features several interpretive signs that provide information about the park's geology, flora, and fauna.

After about half a mile, the trail reaches its endpoint at the Canyon Overlook, a large, fenced viewing platform that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the main canyon, the Zion-Mt.
